i gave it one star less because you really dont get any second chances for carelessness. I allowed my cousin to fly mine on the beach and unfortunately it crashed on the sand and got caught on a piece of driftwood and tore a little hole in the kite.. I eventually got it fixed with a kitefix kit(which worked great) . This kite is a joy to fly in the water as it pulls you all over the beach.The 3rd like makes it very easy to re launch. The only thing you have to remember is that you have to fly it in an area that has absolutely no driftwood or trash or rocks, the kite will tear very very easily if caught on anything, which should be common knowledge for kite fans

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my 1 year old grandson. I looked everywhere for a simple sturdy swing frame that we could put a baby swing on that would last him until he's older. The other small swingsets are flimsy. I feel it's worth the price & has other things you can buy separately as the child gets older. Read description carefully. It only comes with the 2 swings, not the glider.

(More customer reviews)Don't be fooled by the picture or baby product lable. This seat is BIG, big enough for a 200lb+ fanny. Great for the whole family. Commercial grade hardware. Just need a couple of beefy "S" hooks to attach to chain. Awsome!!

(More customer reviews)What a total disappointment. It is so true, you get what you pay for. If the total cost of the plane with S&H was $20.00 I could see, but no, I paid $32.60. Virtually Indestructible was used to describe this plane. What exactly does "Virtually" mean. The nose on the A/C bent up on the first flight with a fairly easy landing. By the end of the third flight the little black nose tip and the entire front end were a crushed mass of bend up strudy foam. And get this... The solid foam construction, well this gave way and the electronics pack w/ the battery were up in the front of the A/C as well. And to beat all the horizontal Stab broke.
I know, I know, you're thinking yeah right... I have been flying RC a/C for years. I was going to introduce my son to an A/C he might be able to handle. Heck, his father couldn't! The first flight was a beautiful long graceful flight. Perfect landing. The next two attempts, the plane never got ten feet off the ground before winging over into the ground. No, Not pilot error! The A/C was trashed out in less than 10 minutes. Oh, and the battery, what a joke! We got one flight. Less than ten minutes. Needless to say...Do not waste your time or money on this product. It is a let down. Bought mine at [...] Don't make the mistake I did...

HQ Kites Symphony Series 1.4 R2F Kite Review

(More customer reviews)I flew the Symphony 1.8 for the first time Saturday in 5 - 10 mph winds and loved it. I have never flown a 2 line kite before, and had about 2 minutes of instruction and went out and did it. The 1.8 is a very nice flying kite. I fell in love right then. I couldn't seem to get the hang of self-launching it though.
On Sunday, I had the chance to fly the Symphony 2.7. The winds were not steady which made it challenging. After watching me crash it for a while, an expert came over and gave me lots of good tips and helped me fly. I finally got the hang of self-launching and the 2.7 ended up being just as fun. I flew it for 4 hours.
Between the two, I went and bought the 1.8. It was easier for a novice to fly, and I plan to take it backpacking, so I chose the lighter of the two. Assuming I get as much use out of it as I expect, I will also get the 2.7 at some point.
I would recommend either kite to a beginner. The larger 2.7 will require more practice to get good, but both are nice to fly in light or moderate winds. The best part is that nothing breaks when you hit the ground hard!

Tim Bird Review

(More customer reviews)My son played with this toy 25 years ago and it gave him many hours of fun, we went through two birds as he played with it so much, I don't recall what happened to the first bird but the second one we still had in our closet. I brought out the Tim bird for my 5 year old grandson to play with the other day, but unfortunately the band inside broke after about an hour of playing with it, but in all fairness the band was 25 yrs old! I am ordering a new bird today as my grandson was thrilled with the toy as was his father. If you have a large space free of buildings and trees where you can fly this it's a really fun toy. A small child would need the assistants of an adult to wind it up and throw it, my grandson however at age 5 needed no assistance at all.

(More customer reviews)The kite kept wanting to make a right turn into the ground. Tried adjusting the bridle loop and streamers and still same results. Wind speed may have been greater than 15 mph stated on package. It is made really well. If it would fly it would be great!
