(More customer reviews)I bought this swing set for my two grandaughters. It was a big Birthday surprise for them. My son-in-law worked for about 16 hours to get it up and ready for them. It's definitly worth the money I paid for it. Everything seems to be nice and sturdy. The little picnic bench could have been made a bit stronger though. With both girls on the bench it seems to bend in the middle a little. We've talked about buying some wood to brace it up so it won't cause a problem. Other than that all is great. Most days we have five kids climbling all over it. I see it lasting a long time. I'm happy I bought it. And the free shipping topped it off. Right to the house and carried to the back yard.

Mattel Batman Dark Knight Action Cape Figure Review

(More customer reviews)the sculpt is good, nice detail in the Batsuit, and decent Christian Bale likeness. the nylon-like glider cape retracts into the figure's back when you crank Batman's left arm and pops out for cool effect when you press on his stomach. his other arm is spring-loaded at the shoulder to throw the Batarang accessory the figure comes with. sadly, since both arms are needed to perform a special action feature, they aren't very poseable. the pop-out cape feature duplicates the scene from the trailer where Batman does a freefall off a building, assumedly releasing his glider cape to soar across Gotham. but Batman fans will miss the billowing cloth cape this figure lacks.
kids will like the action features and some collectors eager for TDK merch might pick these up to add to their collection, but more picky collectors are better off waiting until the 14-inch Ultimate Batman comes out in late May.

White Wings Albatross Sailplane Rubber Band Powered Plane Review

(More customer reviews)The plane was delivered in a large cardboard box with no signs of damage. So I was a bit surprised to find that the box inside that actually holds the plane kit looked as though it had been stepped on with a large boot. Glad it was not intended as a gift, because it looked pretty bad. But inside, the plane did not appear to be damaged. I hoped to buy a plane that was a few steps up from the old balsa wood gliders. In some ways, the design exceeded my expectations, in others, it clearly fell short. The horizontal stabilizer is solidly attached to the "fuselage". Combine this with the wing struts under the main wing and you have a fairly sturdy little airplane. But the vertical stabilizer (rudder) is held on by a tiny little piece of tape and can be expected to fall off repeatedly on the ground and in flight. Once assembled, the plane was clearly "out of whack" and required some serious manipulation to get the wings and stablizer level. It's hard because you feel as though you are on the verge of snapping it half. You have to get pretty serious with it to make any difference. The instructions stated that you must wind the propeller, if memory serves, about 180 times for the first flight. Apparently, the plane won't fly correctly if you don't fully wind it up. I wound it about 75 times and the rubber band snapped. The plane comes with a replacement rubber band that is different in size from the original, but I'm not entirely sure how to install it and I may not bother. Glad I didn't spend too much on this.

LEGO: Wright Brothers Plane Review

(More customer reviews)I must say this set was extremely frustrating to build. It is the least structurally sound Lego set I have ever built. Granted Lego was limited in what they could do because they were copying an existing design, but that is no excuse for the problems I had.
First, attaching the cockpit area caused the lower wing to fall apart multiple times. Once I finally got that attached (after about 20 minutes) I built the upper wing and had to attach that one to. For the next 2 hours I sat there rebuilding the lower wing, cockpit and upper wing to get it attached right. Like I said, EXTREMELY frustrating. It took close to 4 hours to build when it should not have taken more than 2.
After it was all built I think it looks great sitting on a shelf, where it will collect dust because if I dusted it, it would fall apart.

The action figure's design comes from Spider-Man's latest animated series, [...]. The Green Goblin appears in episode 7, "Catalysts."
This action figure is well-built and very durable. It comes along with the signature Goblin Glider and a pumpkin bomb. Everything fits together well, which really makes playtime fun.
One final note on these action figures: we paid about [...] each for the Spider-Man toys but many collectors have driven up prices to more than [...] each. Compare Amazon sellers and be selective. You can still find affordable action figures on Amazon but you need to do some research.

(More customer reviews)there is a plastic tripod like assembly around the air hose stand. this stand simply is not durable enough and so it de-assembles rather too quickly upon use. with no stable stand the aim is completely random, almost better to hold it in one hand. that defeats the whole pump with the foot notion of the thang. so why bother... the nerf toys are more durable and the kids will play with them longer. the projectiles have already ripped off their paper wings. typical next day and hardly touched toy. final grade? D.

(More customer reviews)This swing set has led to more frustration than any product that I have ever purchased. It is just awful and should be avoided at all cost. There are many problems:
1. The instructions that came with the set were not encased in a plastic baggie. Thus, when the box that the set became wet, the instructions were ruined: soggy and literally disintegrating.
2. As a result, I went to the web site to download a PDF version of the instructions. The instructions were printed front side and back side on a very large sheet -- far too large for any printer available to a consumer. As a result, I had to take screen shots of the sheet and try to piece them together. (Of course, the print was very faint and my printed out screen shots are very difficult to read.)
3. The parts are terribly labeled -- from the large pieces down to the smallest pieces.
4. Many of the parts are indistinguishable to the naked eye (some differ in size by literally 1/16 of an inch).
5. As a result, when one completes one arduous step, one may very well find that used he used the wrong parts and then have to start over.
6. The parts coming from the factory are of terrible quality. Holes are not punched through on the frame and quite a lot of effort is required just to get the parts to fit together.
I could go on, but I think that list is a start to an explanation of why this product should not be purchased.
