When I opened it up, all the parts were intact, and the pieces were mostly flat, and fit together like a puzzle inside the box, similar to Ikea packaging. When I started to put things together, that's when I realized that this changing station is not very well made. The wood pieces are all MDF, and good enough, but the screw-1/4 turn connectors are horrible. Not a single 1/4 turn connector would "catch" the screwhead. This made the whole structure mechanically unstable.
I'm in the process of drilling holes and installing #8 wood screws just to tighten things up and make it work. I would not recommend this to any parent.
