(More customer reviews)My husband and I purchased this rocker/glider back in October-we are expecting our first baby in December--and we love this chair! We have it in our living room right now for watching TV because it's so comfortable--no need to put it in the nursery yet! :) It was very easy to assemble--my husband put it together in about 15 minutes. I really wanted a rocker that reclined and this was the ONLY one I could find under $500 that had gotten good reviews. It does not come with an ottoman, we have a stool that we use, but you may not want an ottoman so it might not be an issue. We didn't have room in our nursery for one, so we weren't as concerned about trying to find a rocker/glider that came with one. The padding is thick and comfortable and the high back gives you good head support. It is fairly wide, but not too wide. I am 8 months pregnant and 170lbs and it has plenty of room! My husband fits in it very comfortably as well (he's about 195lbs and 6'). I did want to find a darker fabric color, but rockers/gliders in this price range just don't come in that many color options, unfortunately. This will definitely work for our nursery even though it is not the 'perfect' color. I would HIGHLY recommend this product! Enjoy!

(More customer reviews)This is a great rocker. I got it to nurse my baby about a year ago and have been mostly pleased. It was easy to put together, has a tall back so I can rest my head and a wide seat for me and the little one. It glides very well and has yet to pinch my kids fingers and she climbs all over it. It does not come with the pictured foot stool - but I knew that before I purchased it. The part I don't like about it is the arm rests - they are attached with Velcro that is constantly coming undone - often loudly as I am trying to stand up with my sleeping bundle of joy in my arms. You'd think for this price they could snap them in place or something.

(More customer reviews)So far this chair has worked out great! The seat is very comfortable and the gliding motion is very smooth. You don't need to put out much effort to rock in the glider and the foot stool makes it even easier to glide. The chair arrived sooner than I thought and the chair was not damaged and the color of the wood was very true to what the picute indicates. It took 30 minutes to put it together - we had an issue with the arm cushions ;). I would highly recommend this chair for anyone who is looking for a glider for his or her nursery. The only down sides to the chair are the seat is not wide enough to fit you, the baby, and a boppy pillow comfortably (for those moms who will brest feed); the cream colored cushions are getting dirty faster than I thought, and if you are sitting close to the edge of the seat DO NOT LEAN FORWARD!! I made the mistake of leaning forward - my little one and I went overboard! Other than that, the chair meets all of my requirements and I would tell others to buy this chair. Especially at the price - you can't beat it. You don't need to pay top dollar to get top quality.

(More customer reviews)I originally bought a lower end rocker on Amazon for half the price thinking all rockers are the same which I quickly learned is NOT true. I decided with how much time I'd be spending in it rocking my baby it was worth trying a higher end rocker and paying the difference. Definitely glad I made that decision because this rocker is SO comfortable! I ordered the sage green which looks great with the cherry wood--a beautiful rocker. The rocker reclines and locks in position making it easy to fall asleep in. Very sturdy, excellent quality, and well made (especially compared to the lower end model we put together). Putting this rocker together was a breeze. I also have the matching ottoman which glides just as nicely as this one. I definitely recommend this rocker to anyone looking for a long lasting, comfortable, beautiful chair.

It's not solid, not comfortable, the adjustment bar to lean back is not precise or easy to manage or comfortable and it sticks out from the seat cushion. I wish we never got it.

So I have been shopping for a glider and ottoman for my wife because we are expecting our first child in a few weeks. I shopped locally at a family-owned, higher end baby store as well as at various national chains for comparison of size, motion, and features. I was looking for a glider that would recline, as I imagine that we will be spending quite a bit of overnight hours rocking our little one to sleep. Reclining will allow us to catch a few zzzz's as well.
My process for shopping is always to find value. This glider has all the features of a higher priced brand. With the ottoman the cost was just about half of the pricier brand. I am usually skeptical when the deal looks that good, but I thought it would be safe, given Amazon's ease of returns.
I am happy to report that we are impressed with the glider. It is well constructed and very sturdy. I expected the glider and ottoman would require some assembly, and was nicely surprised when the ottoman arrived fully assembled in its box. The glider itself needed only minimal assembly and the instructions were clear and easy to follow--as long as you read *and* follow the illustrations. I got a little careless and missed a step because I wasn't reading carefully, but was able to back track easily and correct my error.
The fabric is light green microfiber and appears to be of a good quality.
I would highly recommend this to anyone shopping for a comfortable glider!
