(More customer reviews)I had heard so much good thing about this product, so I gave it a try. I bought one glider with an additional High Tac refill. The Perma Tac runs okay, but it is hard to put on straight. Then I tried the High Tac which is a great disappointment. Within a minute, the roller jammed, and the adhesive started sticking to itself. I must have wasted two to three feet of adhesive trying to unroll it. Think twice before getting it. Maybe I have bad luck with this particular refill, and I am certainly not a happy customer.

(More customer reviews)When I first bought my Glue Glider I loved it (about a month ago). I was using the High Tac cartridge. Worked just fine. Then I bought 2 repositionable cartridges and both of them gummed up really bad and the glue would not hold even the thinnest of paper. I cleaned the rollers, rolled up the tape some and got the same results. I won't be buying anymore refills for this runner.

(More customer reviews)When I first saw an add for this item it was love at first site. Problem was that no one, I mean no one knew where to get it. My LSS did not have any way to order it due mostly to the fact that we could not find the manufacturer or a supplier. I looked for a good three months when finally I found it!
It was black friday 2008 (my birthday) They had the entire set the gun, permatac, high tack and repositional all for the low price of around $15 and on black friday it was a two for sale. So yeah I ordered it!
They came in I gave a set to a friend for Christmas and then took a class from Lance at Rusty Pickle.
I found during this class that the amount of adhesive did not go as far as I had expected. I did not comparison shop so when I went to purchase more off the LSS floor I compared.
The gun holds the same amount as a regular Tombo or Herma runner does. around 40ft of the perma tack. The high tack however holds 62ft. I wrote to the company and they replied to the issues I brought up. The adhesive itself has a stronger tack/holding fourmula than the competitors so you use less. I have applied their suggestions and found them to be right.
So yes I would recomment this item. It does not get stuck, pull out, gumm up, or any other of the annoying things the small unners do. No it is not the ATG but who wants to haul that thingto a crop. I found this the perfect size and it gives me great control, better than the smaller runners as the glue is exactly where I expect it to be when I set it on the item I want to attach.
Try it you wil like it. the refils are becoming available at more stores and the web site itself has sugestions and resources for their product too.

Scotch Advanced Tape Glider Refills Review

(More customer reviews)This is a good quality product. If you look around you can find cheaper generic versions of this tape, but the quality is just not as good. I found that our local Michaels sells this tape for about ten dollars for the acid-free tape (there are 2 rolls in each pack). The "general purpose" kind is about six dollars. I wait until I have a 40% off coupon to buy these.

(More customer reviews)I was soooo resistant to getting the Yellow or Red ATG, first because of the size, second because of the price. All of my scrapping friends assured me that the size was not a problem and swore by this adhesive and dispenser. So, when the Pink ATG came out, and was available on a deal of the day site for a great price, I decided that it was finally time to try it out (I mean you can't pass up a good deal right?). It was a little awkward at first, getting used to the size, but that only took one scrapping session to get used to. What I initially disliked, but now LOVE is that the adhesive is VERY, VERY PERMANENT!!!!! I MEAN PERMANENT. Once you adhere 2 surfaces together, they are not coming apart! However, if you put the adhesive down but DO NOT adhere another surface to the surface you originally put the adhesive on, you can roll it off, like a snot ball. So there is an opportunity to remove the adhesive if you put it down in the wrong place as long as you do not adhere anything to it. The adhesive also lasts a REALLY long time, so you are not constantly buying adhesive! It is a big bang for your buck!
