It has held up very well.
The glider mechanism works smoothly and quietly and allows your body to move naturally while playing, without being distracting.
It provides good back support and has helped me to improve my playing posture.
I'm glad that they're now offering more fabric and color options.
I just ordered new brown leather cushions for mine and I expect to get many more years of use from the chair.
I think the price is reasonable. I had done considerable research trying to find a well-built armless rocker or glider chair and found nothing comparable at any price.
I highly recommend this chair.

I could used a tiny bit more cushion and their are no zippers on any of the covers to wash them. I will probably end up adding a bit more cushion and some zippers. For the price, this chair is worth it!

(More customer reviews)The locking mechanism falls into place while rocking my son and wakes him up. It also locks when nobody is sitting in the chair and wakes him up. We eventually removed the entire locking mechanism, now the chair is a little unsteady, but at least it is not constantly waking our son up. Pity we didn't buy one of the cheap gliders instead of this piece of junk.

Our 2' Western Red Cedar Glider is the right size to fit on a patio. The wood glider is 34-1/2" high x 28" wide x 27" deep. The seat is contoured for comfort. Our lawn furniture is shipped partially assembled, with easy to follow assembly instructions. All our gliders have ball-bearing glider mechanisms for smooth gliding action. Our patio furniture products are made from natural tight knotty cedar with non-staining hardware. Cedar is lightweight, dimensionally stable, and naturally resistant to splitting, cupping, and warping. Cedar gives our patio furniture strength, beauty & natural resistance to the elements. An oil or clear finish with UV light protection will bring out the beauty of the grain and a bit of red tinge in the wood. A very traditional rustic look can be done with polyurethane with UV light protection. This will slightly darken the wood while bringing out a bit of red tinge found in the grain. Stains are easy to apply, can come in almost any color and do look great. An alternative finish is an opaque stain, which looks like paint, but doesn't chip or peel as can happen with paint. You should apply a finish that will waterproof the wood, and prevent water spots & stains from ruining the look of the wood. Please consult your local paint expert, as there are always new products coming onto the market. OPTIONAL natural tone stain finish is available for a nominal fee. Knitted Pillow Style Leatherette Swivel Glider Rocking Chair with Ottoman Review

(More customer reviews)I am relatively happy with this chair, but this wasn't the perfect recliner that I had been hoping for. In the spirit of full disclosure:
- First of all, shipping was over $80 (to IL), so the price listed is a bit misleading.
- The cushions are comfortable, but thin and rather stiff. Don't expect to sink into soft, cushy, leatherette heaven when sitting down.
- Finally, and most importantly, the recliner does not recline particularly far. You won't get anywhere near horizontal on this chair. It's comfortable, but think "economy airline seat" with respect to the angle to which it reclines. This chair is primarily a rocker- and it performs exellently in this respect.
Negatives aside, it's a fine chair. It seems to be very solidly built. It ships fast and is a comfortable rocker. My pets fight to nap on it. I risked ordering the "plum" color, because I wanted a darker chair that would fit in with a dark brown decor. It turns out that the "plum" color is essentially dark brown- with no hint of purple or red- which was perfect for me.
If you are not bothered by any of the issues I described above, then it would certainly be a solid choice.

ROLLING RULER - 6 Review

(More customer reviews)At the suggestion of another person, I purchased a 6 inch and 12 inch rolling ruler with the intent of using both the straight edge and protractor portion to draw lines at specific angles. The tool works, but unfortunately, the numbers are too hard to see without using a magnifying glass. So, I ordered Alvin's 10 inch parallel glider which has numbers that are much easier to see and works for my specific purpose. The two rolling rulers are now gathering dust in my desk drawer.
