(More customer reviews)When they say "Handcrafted for snug joinery," they fail to reveal that the customer is the one to do the handcrafted joinery...Seriously, everything is to be assembled - and you have to glue the dowels, to boot! I understand the bargain price now. Had I known, I would never have bought this product, but it's here and would be expensive to return. I'm hoping to convince my son that it's kind of like a wooden Lego kit and that he might enjoy the challenge.
On the positive side, the wood is nicely sanded and smooth. I have no idea if I have the right pieces with which to make a glider, but it seems to be nice wood.
If you're up for a challenge and/or really good with woodworking, this is possibly a good deal. Wish I could give you an "after" review in case it turns out to be spectacular! Right now I'm just outraged and disappointed and want to warn others what they are in for so you won't have the same shock I did!
