With varying degrees of difficulty in the 10 different models that can built with it its easy enough for the 5/6 year old to build on his own but also offers more challenging plans to test his growing abilities. The plane shown on the box was the first thing my son built. It was easy to put together and stayed together for him to be able to play with without any problems. With instructions to be able to build different airplanes, hang-gliders, parachutes (which looks like a hot air balloon to me)this set would be a definite hit with your little aviator!!

K'NEX Education - Transportation Set Review

(More customer reviews)I like Knex in general, but I was very disappointed that this set only contains one battery operated motor. The description says three motors, but two of them are spring motors. For the price I expected a lot more. This set is over 4 times as expensive as the 425 pice value tub, but has less than 2 times as many pieces.

(More customer reviews)This video has been taken when my son was 12 months old. We bought it for his first birthday and he fell in love with it! He is 27 months old and he rides it at least once a day since then. My son is a very active kid and he rides it pretty brave as you see on the video. You see the base of the horse is very safe, it is very unlikely that the kid would fall down, if my son did not fall down, no kid would. The riding sound is very actual, it sounds like a horse walks on the asphalt. It is a very durable toy that even I tried to ride it and it actually carried me easily. Only one thing happened so far (we own it for almost 1,5 years), one of the handles (well, horse ear I guess) came loose, not a big deal, no safety hazard or something. My husband fixed it anyways and my son still enjoys it! I will keep it, so that my grandchildren will enjoy it in the future. (Oh by the way, glad that we bought it just for $45 when it was on sale on Amazon!!!) I definitely recommend it.

(More customer reviews)Moving that desk? The sofa? If you can get someone to lift up the legs (assuming you need help) these teflon pads are a miracle. Slide them under the legs of the table or sofa and push across a rug like a sledge in the fine snow. Wheee!!!! And they prevent scratching the floor ...as long as you wipe the floor first to keep grit from under the pads.
I'd say these are a must-have in any home, and I'd recommend them as a housewarming gift. Get two sets and you will make a memorable impression for anyone as a practical, thoughtful person. And get a set for yourself. These are terrific.
