Okay I'm gonna hit up on first my story for this because it begins in my early childhood going to Universal Studios Island of Adventure in Orlando, Florida and as soon as I get off the Spiderman 3-D ride, my favourite ride there until they make an Iron Man one, I see this pack, Hobgoblin, one of the villains of the ride, and Spiderman in this strange suit that I had never seen before. This has been said to have been the early draft of the suit for the film, but if you read the back of the box it comes in or the card, you find out that this isn't Peter Parker. Oh no the Spiderman you get is not Peter Parker this Spiderman is none other than Ben Reiley, Peter Parker's clone or as Peter Parker thought, the original. Explaining that part would be a pain so just wikipedia it to learn about the character.
Anyway on to the figure itself or themself or....whatever just onto them. We'll start with Hobgoblin who sports a cape of cloth. Now this is a darker paint job than the animated version which is the Hobgoblin i was used to. Back then, Hobgoblin was on the animated series or at Jason Macendale was, again wikipedia it for more info. He comes with the cool accessory the only thing I'd call an accessory, the glider. If it didn't, I might not have bought it, but it did so I did buy it. it's purple, the front fins or whatever you call them sticking out like ears, are flimsy and might break over time, like one did but after eight years. The cape, comes off easily, it's not Batman or superman where it's in the figure it's around the neck and easily pulled off. The paintjob is decent til you get to the face and that's where the drawbacks kick in. His face has so many blended colors that it looks weird and they kind of standout if you stare at it too long. THe mouth has no tongue and the only thing distinguishable is the teeth and the top ones are kind semi-decent, but there are no bottom teeth just a white line that if you take a closer look,is out of symetry. Now the jaw is shifted to the right, the lower part anyway so the face is the downside beside not having pumpkin bombs, but I made that up by using the ones i had from my super hobgoblin figure, except those were large and had two connected to each other. SEPERATE THE PUMPKIN BOMBS PEOPLE! I actually said it in a more colorful way that ended that play time.
Now onto Spiderman, and well though I kinda like this suit because it was easily my most muscular spiderman, it also has mismatching lines, eyes are too close together or look wrong and the accessory of the web shooters visibl on the wrist, was lazy and if you think tactically kinda dumb, it's like, "oh yes for those who don't know, i have a limited number of web shots." Might as well give them his allergy list. There is no detail whatsoever in hindsight but still, it's rare to get a Ben Reiley figure in these colors. And though you can't move his figners for different poses a thing that is only done for the movie figures so far that I know and for only super posable ones. It's either, open hand, web shooting hand or a fist. Personally i prefer a fist so I can him punch a badguy but most I get have one of the other two, this one had a punch in the right hand, the only one that i had that did so it sticks with me.
This may just be nostalgia kicking in, but I'd kinda recomend it especially if your kid is really looking for a villain and a spiderman to fight with. They feel flimsy but both are still in good condition after eighty years of the Hobgoblin falling to his death and spiderman having a web swinging accident. It's also good if you want multiple Spider suits because I haven't seen another Ben Reiley suit like that one, you mostly get his blue one with the swirls but for those who do really extensive research, he wore a costume just like that.

Spiderman Animated Action Figure - Green Goblin Review

Spiderman Animated Action Figure - Green Goblin

The Green Goblin was one of several Christmas 2008 additions to our sons' action figure collection, including The Sandman and Venom.
The action figure's design comes from Spider-Man's latest animated series, [...]. The Green Goblin appears in episode 7, "Catalysts."
This action figure is well-built and very durable. It comes along with the signature Goblin Glider and a pumpkin bomb. Everything fits together well, which really makes playtime fun.
One final note on these action figures: we paid about [...] each for the Spider-Man toys but many collectors have driven up prices to more than [...] each. Compare Amazon sellers and be selective. You can still find affordable action figures on Amazon but you need to do some research.

Spider-Man Movie Classic 2 Villian Green Goblin Review

My 4-year-old was introduced to the "Spider-man" films earlier this year and was instantly smitten with the sinister Green Goblin. My mission for Christmas was clear: he had to have a Goblin.
On the one hand, the toy is fine -- it looks just like the character in the movie, and was hands down my son's favorite Christmas present. At the same time, it can be a source of constant frustration. The glider falls apart nearly every time he touches it, and from what I've read, this is a common complaint about this toy. Bottom line: the Goblin is a cool addition for your little web-slinger's collection, but expect a few headaches.

Spider-Man Origins Hero - Secret Wars Spider-Man with Glider Review

Spider-Man Origins Hero - Secret Wars Spider-Man with Glider

This spider-man figure is basically your regular symbiot spider-man. This figure's paint detail is lacking and should have been done better, he also has too many spiderlegs on his body. The figure itself is fairly good, although he's made of cheap plastic which bends extremely easily so not for extreme child play, much better for the display shelf. For a Hasbro copy of the original Secret Wars Spider-man by the great Toy Biz its okay if you want to finish your collection. If your into the symbiot saga like alot of people check out the spider-man origins venom.
