(More customer reviews)I got this swing this past summer and am very glad I decided on this one instead of any of the others available. I looked at some of the metal swings but didn't want to be pulling cushions off every time it might rain so ruled those out. This swing needs no cushions. I was looking for something low maintenance, and this is it. There's nothing on this swing that's going to rust. The angle of the back and seat make it very comfortable to sit on for more than just a few minutes. You're leaning slightly back while seated and have plenty of back support. The seat is contoured, not just an uncomfortable flat bench seat. The front of the seat is curved so there are no boards poking you in the back of your legs. The cedar looks nice as it gradually weathers, and it doesn't need paint or stain unless that's the look you want.
Overall, this is a great patio or yard swing and it seems it will be durable and last a long time. As usual, it's worth the extra $$ to buy quality.

(More customer reviews)I have a wooden swing and I needed something it could hang from. This frame does the trick. I have it sitting on dirt so the safety factor of slippage is nil. I've had it for one season and it stayed out in the elements at all times. Still looks great.

(More customer reviews)Item was received damaged. Two pieces on the back side of the backrest had been broken off in shipment which compromised the wood on the backrest. Also, one of the pre-drilled holes on the base was absent. The wood is also of varying quality. It wasn't bad but the wood is not as pristine as the product shot. I ordered a replacement and will try one more time before giving up on this.
UPDATE: The item was again received damaged, but it was minor and in an inconspicuous place so I just glued the wood back together. The problem this time is that halfway through assembly we found that the slats for the backrest did not fit into the predrilled holes in the arms. I believe the back was assembled wrong, as the arms look just like they look in the picture. I give up. Amazon should pull this item. Customer service was very good but dealing with this was a total waste of two weekends.

Jack Post CG-12Z Country Garden Double Glider with Trays, Bronze Review

(More customer reviews)I was surprised to receive my glider just 4 days after placing my order. I was concerned when I saw the condition of the carton and took pictures of it before opening it to verify its condition in case parts were missing or broken. It had been taped closed in multiple places and a couple of the metal pieces were sticking out, one on each end of the box, where they had broken through the packaging. This obviously was due to both very poor packaging and rough handling of the box, as it was evident that it had not been actually opened prior to delivery.
The glider was easy to put together and the pieces fit well. Although I haven't had much of a chance to actually use it yet, I am very pleased with the quality of the product. The instructions for care said to apply a coat of oil based finish/stain to protect the wood. I presumed that it would come with this done and would need to apply another coat as needed in time, but the wood does not appear to have had anything applied to it prior to shipment.
I did not give the product 5 stars only because of the condition of the packaging. This problem needs to be addressed and corrected by both Amazon and the manufacturing company. Otherwise the next customer ordering this glider may not be as lucky as I was, that nothing was missing or broken.
