It's small enough to fit into this small space but yet functional enough to actually use for drinks or light snacks. The quality of wood is good. It is an actual wood...not plastic. The chairs and table also fold away to make for even more room ... if needed. Overall, I am very happy with this small bistro set. It fit my balcony/patio and NEEDS perfectly.

(More customer reviews)LOOK FOR another brand before buying this one. VERY poor quality construction, holes don't line up, sloppy welds. And is REAL CLEAR the store will not take it back easily (harsh fine print on the receipt/packing list)if they do it'll cost you the shipping. Necessary to redrill the holes aligned to get the bolts in and assembled and won't set without flat on all 4 legs. Instructions very poor as well. Not so sure I want my grandkids to use this thing. I probably will shop for other brands and use this one as a clothes-line! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN ACE HARDWARE ONLINE!

(More customer reviews)Item was received damaged. Two pieces on the back side of the backrest had been broken off in shipment which compromised the wood on the backrest. Also, one of the pre-drilled holes on the base was absent. The wood is also of varying quality. It wasn't bad but the wood is not as pristine as the product shot. I ordered a replacement and will try one more time before giving up on this.
UPDATE: The item was again received damaged, but it was minor and in an inconspicuous place so I just glued the wood back together. The problem this time is that halfway through assembly we found that the slats for the backrest did not fit into the predrilled holes in the arms. I believe the back was assembled wrong, as the arms look just like they look in the picture. I give up. Amazon should pull this item. Customer service was very good but dealing with this was a total waste of two weekends.

We live in a rustic home in the mountains so it looks absolutely wonderful on our front porch. It not only looks great but it glides so smoothly it hard to be anywhere else when we're home. We especially liked that it's made in America and the price was unbeatable! I highly recommend this item!!

Standard shipping was quick and chairs were received several days earlier than the estimate. The only drawback is that they have to be assembled. However, anyone can do it by following the instructions. I saved several dollars ordering online versus buying in the store.

(More customer reviews)Being an Amazon Prime member, I ordered this glider yesterday at 4:25 PM and it's currently sitting in my yard!
It came very well packed and went together very easily... not quite sure what the problem was another reviewer encountered, but the screws don't stick out... they are actually countersunk bolts that fit into countersunk finished nuts.
Certainly not teak or mahogany, but then again, it was about a third the cost!
I'd buy it again and would recommend it to friends.
Seems sturdy and expect it to hold up well, but only time will tell...
BTW, If possible, I'll upload a photo as well.

(More customer reviews)I purchased two chairs and the glider bench for our front porch. They all exceed my expectations! The chair nicely sized and feels very sturdy. I was worried that they would be too oversized; they are perfect. I was able to put it together myself, but it took awhile. My advice when putting it together - read each section of the instructions twice BEFORE you start on that section of assembly. They are very good instructions and mandatory for a good assembly. The chair bench and back assembly to the frame was a little tricky to assemble. If I had a second set of hands, it would have been easier. I did not put a finish on the wood, just cleaned the slats before I assembled them. I've had them a couple of months and they are aging nicely.

(More customer reviews)I was surprised to receive my glider just 4 days after placing my order. I was concerned when I saw the condition of the carton and took pictures of it before opening it to verify its condition in case parts were missing or broken. It had been taped closed in multiple places and a couple of the metal pieces were sticking out, one on each end of the box, where they had broken through the packaging. This obviously was due to both very poor packaging and rough handling of the box, as it was evident that it had not been actually opened prior to delivery.
The glider was easy to put together and the pieces fit well. Although I haven't had much of a chance to actually use it yet, I am very pleased with the quality of the product. The instructions for care said to apply a coat of oil based finish/stain to protect the wood. I presumed that it would come with this done and would need to apply another coat as needed in time, but the wood does not appear to have had anything applied to it prior to shipment.
I did not give the product 5 stars only because of the condition of the packaging. This problem needs to be addressed and corrected by both Amazon and the manufacturing company. Otherwise the next customer ordering this glider may not be as lucky as I was, that nothing was missing or broken.

This spacious 6' Western Red Cedar Settee Glider comfortably seats two with a small table. Each seat glides independently, while the table in the middle stays still. The wood settee is 34-1/2" high x 72" wide x 27" deep. Each glider is shipped partially assembled, with easy to follow instructions. 5' Cedar Porch Glider, Amish Crafted Review

(More customer reviews)The glider was delivered quickly and was very easy to assemble. My wife and I put it together in less than one hour working at a leisurly pace. The only minor issue was that it uses eight screws and the screws provided are square drive rather than phillips drive. I didn't have a square drive but I had some similar size screws in the garage so I made the switch. Otherwise all you need is a couple of wrenches and maybe a hammer for tapping things together.
The wood was fairly smooth on the flat surfaces but the edges were a little rough. I thought about sanding the glider but decided against it. All we did was coat it with water seal. I suppose it would be a bit nicer if sanded but it works for us.
My wife and I are both hefty so I was a little concerned about the capacity of the glider. In fact I purposely bought a wood glider for ease of repair if it broke down. We have only used it a little but it seems like it is going to be strong enough to hold us (500 pounds total).
All in all I am pleased with the product.
