Once again...this cage is HUGE.......it is worth every penny. The only draw back i had was the instructions, the instructions included a very grainy picture of the cage. ONE picture. (More customer reviews)I have had this chair for almost 2 years now, I thought it is a good amount of time to come back and review it. It was easy to put together and holds up well under use. We have found that it isn't the most comfortable for people who are taller who have back trouble. The padding is fairly stiff and therefore doesn't conform to your body shape at all- just stays in it's own shape while you're in it. If we put a couch pillow (throw pillow- not large pillow!) where our lower lumbar area is, it makes the support much better for us. We also use a blanket on the top for some more head support. I'd have liked a bit more give in the cushion, but hey- it is durable, we have been able to work with it ok with the pillow/blanket additions for support. We don't use the ottoman, so I can't comment on that. We've spent hours in this chair from the time our little one was a newborn. The arms of the chair help hold a Boppy Pillow well if you're nursing

(More customer reviews)No Beige, Yellow, or country Blue for my nursey. Not wishing to hurl from pastel overload I purchased this set for my baby's room and am extremely pleased.
It's very comfortable and plush feeling, easy to keep clean and the Pleather is tough enough not to be ripped by doggie claws. And the ottoman is great fun for letting your dog "surf" on.
My husband can't wait for this to come out of the baby's room and become his chair, as it has the higher back and gives great head and neck support. Chair springs did start to squeak a bit but only when fatties like me and my mom rock in it. WD40 quick spray did the trick.

(More customer reviews)My expectations for this glider weren't all that high, considering we purchased it for a fairly low price, but I was still disappointed. The main issue is that the construction of the bottom where the swivel/glider mechanism attaches is very poor, so when you sit in the chair it leans forward and to the left (even if you make a point to lean back and right as you sit). It also is so low to the ground that it doesn't let you glide very far. The chair also seems to be made with a cheap foam filling that probably won't hold up to heavy usage, though we are returning it so I won't be testing that out. It looks nice, but if you are actually planning to sit in it regularly I wouldn't recommend this chair.

(More customer reviews)I was surprised to receive my glider just 4 days after placing my order. I was concerned when I saw the condition of the carton and took pictures of it before opening it to verify its condition in case parts were missing or broken. It had been taped closed in multiple places and a couple of the metal pieces were sticking out, one on each end of the box, where they had broken through the packaging. This obviously was due to both very poor packaging and rough handling of the box, as it was evident that it had not been actually opened prior to delivery.
The glider was easy to put together and the pieces fit well. Although I haven't had much of a chance to actually use it yet, I am very pleased with the quality of the product. The instructions for care said to apply a coat of oil based finish/stain to protect the wood. I presumed that it would come with this done and would need to apply another coat as needed in time, but the wood does not appear to have had anything applied to it prior to shipment.
I did not give the product 5 stars only because of the condition of the packaging. This problem needs to be addressed and corrected by both Amazon and the manufacturing company. Otherwise the next customer ordering this glider may not be as lucky as I was, that nothing was missing or broken.

Sure everything is fine when you rock for the first few times, but wait a while and you will start to notice clicking noises and they will continue to get louder and louder and louder. Then the chair breaks and you cannot use it anymore. Trust me. This chair sucks. It is such a shame too because this chair is so comfortable. Anyway, don't waste your money on this piece of junk. The only good thing out of it is the rocking footrest. That seems to work just fine.
